Our Cellar Door

Finding McHenry Distillery is an adventure in itself and getting there is all part of the experience. It’s a journey through pristine Tasmanian wilderness that leads to a world of handcrafted Whisky and Gin.

From the Port Arthur Historic Site, drive just five minutes further, then turn left onto Radnor Road.

Don’t worry Mchenry’s is sign posted well in advance of your turn off.

The road narrows to a single-lane dirt track, winding deep into the dense forest for 2km, but trust us, it's really worth it.

As the trees clear and sunlight filters through, you’ll arrive at Tasmania’s Southernmost Distillery and Brewery, where premium Whisky and Gin are crafted with pure Tasmanian spring water and maritime climate.

To find our Cellar Door, take one last left turn, right next to our giant inflatable beer can (yes, you read that right!)—and pull into the car park.
